1) When Torey and Ali are talking, Ali said Chris's family is weird enough to keep him off balance, and make him weird, but not insane. Torey responds "You're making it sound like it's more dangerous to have a slightly weird family than a totally weird family" (p. 49). Which do you think is more dangerous? Explain and support your opinion.
2) What do you think is wrong with Ali and her family? What will she finally be able to tell Torey when he goes to her house?

ReplyDelete2. i think her family invades her privacy and does things that normal parents don't do. she will probably tell him that her parents monitor everything she does at home.

1. Haveing a wierd family would usually effect the outcome of your childhood.
ReplyDelete2. I think that the fact that her parents are trying to understand her in the wrong way pushes her farther from telling them who she is.
1. Basically I see it as if you have a completely weird family you're reality becomes blinded of what normal really is, therefore they will just be weird not driven to insanity. You will not see them as abnormal which will end up being what drive you crazy. If you family is kinda weird its not so drastic to where you don't see the fine line or normal and strange so you will notice your family is different. You won't want to except this fact, therefore you will go insane dwelling on the things you can't control, not just the factor of having a weird family. This is just one scenario though of giving a situation that follows the statement.

Yea My fist entry made more sense but it dodn't post and i didn't feel like re-writing it so i tried to sum it up and no i completely missed the point i was getting at in the first place.
